Crighton Kidz performance

Conroe's own "Crighton Kidz" is showcasing their annual production this weekend. Opening night for "WESTWARD WHOA!" was last night, and they are also performing today at 3 pm. My daughter Kayla has been involved with Crighton Kidz for four years. She adores the group and plans a career as a Broadway actress. This was Kristin's first year with Crighton Kidz. She also had a wonderful experience with the show and has made many new friends.

I was thrilled to provide the photography for the production. The images are online for viewing and ordering. Here's the website:
http://photobiz.com/portfolio/portfolio.cfm?photographerID=290 Just click on "Crighton Kidz" to go the gallery.

If you want the cast "family" portrait, you can order it here. You'll also find some individual and small group portraits, plus images I shot throughout the performance. I promise, I didn't just photograph my own kiddos! LOL! If your child was on stage, he or she should be in a photo someplace! If not, then I apologize, I did try!

The cast photo is available as an 8x10 for $12. You can also order the individual or scene photos for $5 each for 4x6 or $10 each for 5x7. Order 10 or more 4x6s for $3 each. The BEST VALUE is to order the CD including ALL images for just $50. You will receive unlimited reproduction rights with the CD to make your own prints, use on your website, etc. If you have any questions, please let me know at debevansphotography@yahoo.com . Please place your order within two weeks. Thank you.
Kayla and Kristin
Kayla was recognized, along with several other actresses, for four or more years of dedication to Crighton Kidz.

Congratulations Crighton Kidz. I think this was your BEST SHOW yet! So much talent right here in Conroe!

Schedule

My office will be closed the week of April 22nd so that I can attend Texas School, the #1 professional photography school in the country (sponsored by Texas Professional Photographers of America)! It happens once a year out in College Station. I will be studying for a full week with an amazing photographer named Lori Nordstrom. I am so excited about this great opportunity!

I'm booking sessions for May and June, so if you want to get on the schedule, let me know! I will still be checking my email throughout the week.

Headshots

This beautiful girl is an actress with Class Act Productions. Class Act is a youth theater group in The Woodlands that I work with. (www.debevansphotography.com/classact.htm) I photographed her headshots last year, and she needed some updated images. She will be auditioning for "Annie" (August 3-5th, check the website for show details)-- If you want to see a professional quality, "Broadway" show right here in The Woodlands, this is the one! Good luck with your audition!!

One of my Favorites!

Okay, if you read my blog, then you know by now, they're all my favorites! But, these little guys are special.

Cole was one of my first "Baby Club" babies back in 2003. I photographed him three times over his first year, and his Mommy, Adria, became more like a friend than a client. She has offered me advice about my business over the years, referred many clients to me, and just been a lot of fun to get to know. Little Carter was born last year, and I've had the pleasure of celebrating his first year in portraits as well.

My daughters and I went to deliver an order and visit with Adria and the boys this afternoon, so I thought I'd better put them on my blog. (Adria likes her boys front and center on my websites! LOL!) She is one of the reasons that I love my job so much!

Senior Cuties!

Although I specialize in "Baby's First Year Portraits", I also do a variety of other photography work, including a limited number of Senior Portraits.

Here are a couple of last-minute senior sessions that I recently photographed -- Eric and Alex. Aren't they cuties?! My job is so rough! :)

Congratulations on graduating, guys! Enjoy!

Here's what Alex's mom had to say: "Deb, I love them! You did a good job capturing Alex's fun sweet spirit. I can’t thank you enough for your talents you have shared with us."

And Eric's mom said "Eric's pics are fabulous. I am having a difficult time deciding which ones to get. I'd like to get all of them."

Annual Bluebonnet Portraits

I've been photographing my daughters in the bluebonnets every year since they were born! We just about missed it this year. My schedule has been so crazy, and the weather has been so uncooperative; the bluebonnets have come and almost gone already! But, after church on Easter Sunday, we headed to our favorite bluebonnet spot in The Woodlands. The girls love posing for pics! I can't believe how big they're getting. I couldn't help but think of our first bluebonnet portraits, when they were just little bitty things. Aren't they pretty? They take after their Daddy! LOL!

On the way home, we saw this beautiful field of yellow wildflowers, so the girls wanted to stop and grab some more shots.
